How to use this page

This page lists A → Z keyboard shortcuts for three major video tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. Each application's section is alphabetized by the shortcut *action* (A–Z). For each action we show the default Windows and macOS key combos where available.

Adobe Premiere Pro — A to Z (Windows / macOS)

Below are A–Z actions with their default shortcuts. (If a single action has multiple shortcuts or platform differences both are listed.)

Tip: Premiere Pro has many more niche shortcuts (panels, Lumetri color, captions, metadata). Use Edit → Keyboard Shortcuts (Windows) or Premiere Pro → Keyboard Shortcuts (Mac) to export or customize a complete list for your own setup.

Adobe After Effects — A to Z (Windows / macOS)

Alphabetized list of After Effects actions and default shortcuts. After Effects uses many single-letter reveals for properties — these are included under their letter.

Note: After Effects contains a large number of single-letter property reveals (P, S, R, T, A, U) which are very useful. Use the Keyboard Shortcuts editor (Edit → Keyboard Shortcuts) in After Effects to export a complete .kys file for your setup.

DaVinci Resolve — A to Z (Windows / macOS)

DaVinci Resolve's default shortcuts vary slightly by version and page (Media, Cut, Edit, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver). Below are common A–Z actions and defaults for the Edit and Cut pages. Use Keyboard Customization inside Resolve to see or change all mappings.

Note: Resolve's keyboard customization is accessible via DaVinci Resolve → Keyboard Customization (macOS) or Workspace → Keyboard Customization (Windows). Because Resolve is updated often, consult your version's keyboard editor for exact defaults and Fusion-specific shortcuts.
